On your iOS June app, the latest version is 1.17.1., and on your Android June app, the latest version is 1.17.0.1.. You can check the oven's software version by going to Settings App > About > Your Oven.

We’ve got an eye on your fungi

It’s back to school time, which means everyone is getting smarter, and your June is no exception. We’ve added more foods that the June can recognize including:

  • Beef Jerky
  • Button Mushroom, Half
  • Button Mushroom, Sliced
  • Button Mushroom, Whole
  • Padron Peppers
  • Wheat Bread, Slices

This update will be released to your oven overnight sometime this week (if your oven is connected to WiFi). You’ll know that you have the newest update when you see a What’s New screen on your June in the morning.

Spaghetti, meat ball

Because we love the June Community and hearing your feedback, we’ve launched these new Cook-Programs for September in response to your suggestions:

  • Chicken Pot Pie (Frozen)
  • Lasagna (Frozen)
  • Leftover Ribs
  • Turkey Meatballs
  • Wheat Bread, Slices

All new Cook-Programs can be found in the “New for September” list.

Customize your remote preheat settings

We also have made changes to your oven settings to allow you to have the option to disable remote preheat.

While the remote preheat feature is a function many of you enjoy, we realize it is not for everyone. To change the settings of remote preheat, go to Oven Settings > Remote Control and then choose Preheat Disabled if you would like to disable that option.

June asks, are you still cooking?

An additional safeguard that we’ve added to your ovens in this latest update is when preheated, June will turn off the heating elements after 30 minutes of inactivity. June will recognize that there is no food inside the oven using its door and internal camera sensors when the oven is preheated.

Changes in the June app

In both the iOS and Android June app, we’ve made this slight change with the preheat flow. When selecting “Preheat Oven,” a temperature and cook mode need to be selected for a preheat to start. We have removed the two Roast and Bake preheat shortcuts.

This update will be released to your oven overnight sometime this week (if your oven is connected to WiFi). You’ll know that you have the newest update when you see a What’s New screen on your June in the morning.
