Roll the treat mixture
Place the treat mixture on a large sheet of parchment paper about 12” x 16”. Cover with a second sheet of parchment of the same size. Use a rolling pin or your hands to flatten the mixture evenly across the paper until it is about ⅛” thick.

Score the treat mixture
Peel off the top piece of parchment. Use a butter knife to score the meat into bite-sized squares so you can break them up later. Score larger squares for larger dogs and smaller squares for smaller dogs. Place the parchment with the flattened treat mixture in a June Air Basket. Confirm 1 Air Basket using the button below. Recommended settings are prepopulated.

Break up the treats
Remove the pressed jerky from the June Air Basket and discard the parchment. Break the jerky into pieces along the scored lines. Arrange the treats in a single layer on the June Air Basket.
Continue dehydrating the treats
Slide the June Air Basket with the treats into the middle shelf position. Follow onscreen instructions on the June Oven to continue dehydrating the treats for 2 more hours. June will notify you when the treats are ready. If you feel your dog will prefer drier treats, follow instructions on the June Oven to continue cooking.
Cool and store the treats
Remove the treats from the June Oven. Let the treats cool completely before storing in an airtight container for 3 weeks, or refrigerate for an even longer shelf life.
