Preheat the June Oven
With the shelf in the middle position, preheat the June Oven to 350°F on the Roast cook mode using the button below.

Cut the strawberries
Trim the tops off the strawberries and discard the tops. Slice the strawberries in half lengthwise.

Add the remaining ingredients
Place the strawberries on the June Pan and sprinkle them with the sugar, balsamic vinegar, vanilla and salt.

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Toss to coat
Toss the berries with your hands or a spatula until they are evenly coated.
Roast the strawberries
Place the June Pan on the middle shelf of the June Oven. Roast the strawberries 25 minutes, until they are soft and jammy. June will notify you when the berries are ready. If desired, follow instructions on your June Oven to continue cooking.
Serve or store the strawberries
Remove the strawberries from the June Oven. Stir gently to coat the berries in the juices. Serve warm or cool completely before storing.
