Preferences
Preheat the June Oven
With a June Air Basket lined with foil in the bottom position, preheat the June Oven to 350°F on the Air Fry cook mode using the button below.

Prepare the ranch seasoning
In a small bowl, whisk the dry buttermilk, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper until combined. Store all but 4 teaspoons in an airtight container for future use. Note: stir the seasoning before each use to redistribute the herbs and spices.

Dry the chickpeas
Spread several paper towels on a work surface. Pour the rinsed and drained chickpeas on the paper towels. Fold the paper towels over to cover the chickpeas and gently rub to dry.

Finish the chickpeas
Transfer dried chickpeas to a large bowl. Add the oil and the 4 teaspoons of reserved ranch seasoning. Toss until coated. Evenly spread the chickpeas in the June Air Basket set over the June Pan to catch the any crumbs.

Air fry the chickpeas
Slide the June Air Basket into the middle shelf position with a foil-lined June Air Basket in the bottom shelf position. Air fry for 15 minutes. June will notify you when to toss the chickpeas.
Remove and toss the chickpeas
Carefully remove the chickpeas from the June Oven. Gently shake the June Air Basket so the chickpeas move around. Keep the oven hot by pressing the button below.
Finish air-frying the chickpeas
Return the June Air Basket to the middle shelf position in the June Oven and air fry for 8 more minutes, or until the chickpeas are golden and crisp. If necessary, follow on-screen instructions to continue cooking. June will notify you when the chickpeas are ready.
Serve or store
Remove the chickpeas from the June Oven and allow to cool slightly. Sprinkle additional salt over to taste, if desired. Serve warm or cool completely in the June Air Basket and store in an airtight container to enjoy later.
