Preferences
Season the artichokes
Lay each artichoke on a piece of foil large enough to wrap it completely. Sprinkle each artichoke all over with the salt and pepper, making sure the seasoning gets in between the leaves.

Wrap the artichokes in foil
Wrap each artichoke in the foil and place it on the June Roasting Rack set within the June Pan (not shown in the video, but recommended). Set cooking preferences based on the size of your artichokes using the button below.

Cook the artichokes
Place the June Pan on the bottom shelf of the June Oven. Roast the artichokes 40-55 minutes, depending on the size of your artichokes, until a paring knife is easily inserted into thickest part of the artichoke. June will notify you when the artichokes are ready.

Halve and clean the artichokes
Remove the artichokes from the June Oven and let them cool in the foil 10 minutes. Carefully unwrap the artichokes, working slowly to avoid steam burns. If desired, slice each artichoke lengthwise in half, then use a spoon to gently scrape out the choke (the fuzzy purple and white part) and discard it.

Serve the artichokes warm or hot.
