Preheat the June Oven
With the shelf in the middle position, preheat the June Oven to 400°F on the Bake cook mode using the button below.

Prepare the kale
Strip the kale leaves off the tough stems. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.

Start assembling the ingredients
Coat the rectangular baking pan with nonstick spray. Add the gnocchi, Parmesan, olive oil, garlic, salt and red pepper flakes.

Add the kale
Add the kale. Toss everything to combine.

Add the broth and cover
Pour the vegetable broth into the pan. Cover tightly with foil.

Bake the food
Transfer the baking pan to the middle shelf of the June Oven. Bake the covered gnocchi 25 minutes, until the the gnocchi are heated through and the kale is wilted. June will notify you when the gnocchi is ready. If necessary, follow on-screen instructions to continue cooking.
Toast the pine nuts
Toast the pine nuts on the stove in a dry saute pan set over medium-low heat, shaking the pan to evenly toast. Toast the nuts until fragrant and light gold, about 3 minutes. Transfer immediately to a bowl to cool.

Add the cheese
When June notifies you, remove the baking pan from the June Oven and place on a cooling rack or heat-resistant surface. Carefully uncover the baking pan, avoiding the steam. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top.

Broil the food
Return the baking pan to the June Oven. Broil the food on High Power for 4 minutes, until the top is golden brown. June will notify you when the food is ready.
Serve
Remove the food from the June Oven. Transfer the gnocchi and kale to serving plates or a platter and garnish with toasted pine nuts. Zest and juice the lemon half over the food just before serving.
