Preferences
Peel and core the apples
Peel all the apples. Using the apple corer, core all the apples.

Slice and soak the apples
Slice the apples crosswise into ¼”-thick rings. If desired, fill a bowl with cold water and lemon juice and add the apple rings as you slice them to prevent them from browning.

Arrange apple slices in a single layer in the June Air Basket. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if using. Confirm 1 Air Basket using the button below. Recommended settings are prepopulated.

Dehydrate the apples
Slide the June Air Basket into the middle shelf position with a foil-lined June Air Basket in the bottom shelf position. Dehydrate for 10 hours, until the apples are dried and pleasantly chewy. June will notify you when the apples are ready. If desired, follow directions to continue cooking.

Remove the apples from the June Oven and allow to cool completely. Transfer dried apples to an airtight container to store.
