Preferences
Start the burger mixture
Combine the ground beef, garlic powder and onion powder in a large bowl.
⅔ pound ground beef
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder

Season the burger mixture
Add the salt and pepper to the burger mixture.
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Mix to combine
Gently mix the burger mixture with your hands until it is thoroughly combined.
Shape the patties
With your hands, scoop half of the burger mixture from the bowl and shape it into a patty at least ½" thick. Place the patty on the June Roasting Rack set within the June Pan. Repeat with the remaining half of the burger mixture so there are 2 patties of equal size and shape.

Broil the burgers
Place the burger patties on the middle shelf of the June Oven. Plug the June Food Thermometer into the jack. June will notify you when the burgers are ready.

Assemble and serve the burgers
Remove the burgers from the June Oven. Transfer the patties to hamburger buns and divide the cheese, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, onion, tomato and lettuce between the 2 burgers, if using.
