Start the sauce
While the beans are cooking, make the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, corn starch and honey. Set aside.
small bowl
whisk
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1½ tablespoons rice vinegar
1½ tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon corn starch
Cook the sauce
Add the canola oil to a small pot or saucepan and place over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger to the hot oil and cook, stirring constantly until soft and fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the soy and honey mixture to the pot and stir to combine. Bring the sauce to a boil and reduce the heat to low. Simmer the sauce until thick and glossy, about 1 more minute. Remove the pot from the heat and set the sauce aside.

2 teaspoons canola oil
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1½ teaspoons crushed garlic

Toss the green beans in the sauce
Remove the green beans from the June Oven and place on a cooling rack or heat proof surface. Pour about half the sauce over the green beans and toss until all the green beans are evenly coated. If desired, add additional sauce until the beans are coated to your liking.
